INTRUST MEZZANINE REAL ESTATE

INTRUST is an innovative real estate financing concept which closes the funding shortfall for German project developers that ensued as a result of Basel II. INTRUST grants subordinated loans to individual project companies of the INVESTA Real Estate Group, and as such, provides the equity for the respective projects. INTRUST shares the marketing risk together with the project developer, and in addition to accruing interest, receives a preferred return upon project completion that is dependent on the occupancy rate at the time the investment decision was made. Apart from the usual strategic diversification, the comprehensive risk management concept includes crucial security components – such as result pooling – made possible through the exclusive cooperation with INVESTA.
